        FIXING
  1. Fix wet smear with  Biofix  Spray and wait for drying.
  2. Hydrate smear by dipping the slide in Tap Water for 1 -3 minutes depend on the smear.

    NUCLEAR STAINING
  3. Blot out excess water from slide and dip slide in nuclear stain for 45-60 seconds.
  4. Dip slide in Scotte's Tap Water for 30-45 seconds.

    Preparation of Scotte's Tap Water
    100 mL Tap Water +1 mL Scotte's
    Tap Water Concentrate (Reg No. 7)
  5. Blot out excess Scotte's water and dip the slide in Dehydrant (Reg.No.5) with two change for 30 second each.

    CYTOPLASM STAINING
  6. Dip slide in Cytoplasm working stain for 45 seconds.

    Preparation of Cytoplasm Working
    Stain :-
    Mix 2A and 2B equal volume.
    (25 mL + 25 mL Stable for 3 months)
  8. Blot out excess water and dip slide in Dehydrant
       (Reg.  No.  5) with two changefor30 second each.
  9.  Dip slide in Xylenefor20 second.
10.  Mount the slide with cover glass.
       usingadropofD.P.X. Mountant.

Important Note
  1. Dip slide with slight agitation.
  2. Blot out excess waterwith filter paper
    or tissue paper.
  3. Keep Cytoplasm stain and
    Dehydrant in airtight bottle.
  4. For dipping CSF staining jars an avoid
    pouring stain on smear.
